Upon retirement of the owners in 1980, Mario became the president and sole owner of the company. Since that time, equipment has been updated and the plant expanded and modernized into the state of the art facility that exists today. In 1992, the Guarriello and the Zavaglia families joined to form Amitech, a company that manufacturers chemicals for the textile industry and distributes them both domestically and abroad. In 1993, a 12-color rotary screen print machine was purchased to further expand the operation.
Mario's three sons have become active partners in the organization. Nicholas is the plant manager who oversees all production, and is in charge of scheduling work through the plant. Mario Jr. manages the dye house and color formulation laboratory. Vincent is the production manager for Amitech, as well as the purchasing agent for OTI.
